On a side note, Charlie is just about 8 months old, and still does not sleep through the night. When she turns a year, I'm just turning the monitor off. I can't do this forever.

Ummm. OK what's been up since Christmas.

Charlie is enormous.

The legal dispute with my dad's stuff happened.

I still get to go to court in March. Yay.

The Saints won the effing Superbowl. I cried.

I ate king cake. I cried. I'm missing home.

Our car got recalled.

Other than that, not much.

I can't believe the nerve that some people have.... especially around the holidays. In an ideal world, it wouldn't be about showing up other people with gifts or money or grand gestures, it would be about making everyone feel loved, appreciated and welcomed. But hey, I'm a sentimentalist.

Kinda sucks that no one showed up to the bar last night. Was very disheartening to feel like I came home without Charlie to hang out with friends, only to have no friends.

Still, kinda cool being called "fucking adorable" by random drunk guy.
