oh my god. im just glad your ok. your room wouldnt have stood a chance - so lucky.
im the same though - i just leave things pluged in and on for god knows how long and just forget about it. prehaps i should learn a lesson here, too...

Mine did exactly the same thing, it's a common fault on those power supplies... pick up one of the older brick type apple chargers or a 3rd party one that has a more sturdy cable.

OOOh ouch. Much as i love apple they're not perfect... Although having said that love my new maglock mackbook. but seriously check the serial numbers and hopefully it'll be a free replacement?

I've been meaning to send mine off for replacement for ages :/ That doesn't look like a battery thing though. Thankfully, my power adapter is running pretty cool...

Glad things are mostly ok, though.

oh wow... i'm glad you're okay! i always leave my laptop plugged in (and usually on :/) when i go out/go to sleep but i am NEVER going to do that again.
