Four days ago, I managed to tie Smokey's long-standing record of 36 minutes. This week I'm making the final push, for that holy grail of Super Metroid goodness: 35 minutes.

I finally beat that tired old time of :38, for a new record of :37! (Super Metroid, of course) The record is :36, and it looks like I may actually have a shot at beating it. It will take a considerable amount of work, but when you're this close, it's impossible not to at least try.

Wow, it has been awhile since I've had a chance to post here. I noticed an old post where I said that I had beaten Metroid Zero Mission in 1 hr, 25 minutes. I never got around to giving an update. I've finally gotten all 8 endings to Metroid Zero Mission. This means that I've beaten it on hard mode in under 2 hours, and I completed 15% runs on both normal and hard modes. Well, the movers have finally taken all of my stuff. I now have an empty house with an air mattress and little else. Yesterday was a very unusual day. When I woke up, the power was out. Later that morning, it was still out. And not just our house. The power was out in the entire housing complex we live in (which is quite large), including a gas station, store, Popeye’s chicken, even several traffic lights. This went on for the entire day.
