I really need to stop going to bed at 1 or 2 am. Doesn't set a good sleep pattern. This morning I had a meeting with my advisor about my short stories for Senior Seminar. I had slept very little, eaten nothing and I was trying to take notes on what she said. As she pointed out things she liked, I wasn't even listening, until she started talking about the problems that she saw in each of my stories, which was what I needed to hear ( Read more... )

I hope all my texanites are doing ok. Since I don't know too many people in Houston, I guess thats less worrisome, but it always makes me nervous when my loved ones are in places where stuff is happening. But then again, Texans are used to bad weather, aren't we. If it makes ya'll feel any better, Atlanta had tornadoes at the beginning of school.

I try not to complain too much, even though I am sure I do it all the time. But today I feel it is rather warranted.

I was taking a shower when the tornado siren went off, so I through on some clothes and went with everyone else down to the basement of my dorm building for an hour and a half till the warning was lifted from our county because  a ( Read more... )
