The Bat's Revenge

Late afternoon was a good time to work on the potted plants Bart had managed to coax into growing in the bat's room. Bob was hard on his furniture, and the kind that grew back was better than the kind that had to be regularly replaced. Tim walked into Bob's room, fiddling with the newest puzzle that he'd created. It wasn't working exactly the way he wanted it to. He wanted to compare it to one of the current puzzles. He dodged around Bart without really looking at him, far too used to this dance.

Bob looked up(down?) from his investigation of the woefully treat-free puzzle, and with a sound of annoyance, somehow managed to lift the toy from the hook and send it in Tim's direction. The noise startled Bart, and he looked around, only then noticing what was going on.

The wooden puzzle bounced off Tim's head with a noticeable thunk, eliciting a sharp curse from the dark haired boy. "Bob!" he scolded, glaring up at the bat who scolded right back, presumably with equal, if battish, curses.

"Bart, control your bat!"

Bart shot Tim a look that would have been much more imposing if he hadn't been fighting laughter at the same time.
