I know my family loves me but they need to loosen their grip a bit and trust my judgement.

I've always been good and have never done anything to embarrass them, always getting good grades, never getting in trouble, etc...

How am I supposed to learn anything if I can't make my own mistakes or think for myself? I think I'm old enough.

so what kind of non-crazy thing are they not letting you do now? see a movie after dark? hold hands with a boy? listen to music while you drive?

nothing specific... it's just the way they treat me and the things they say. like they don't trust me to make the right decisions.
