Classes have started and I am insanely busy. I didn't think it would be this busy, but class and teaching and studying for the CPA exam is taking its toll. I have 80 students to teach for Principles of Financial Accounting. The teaching itself I like, but I don't like grading papers. It takes soooooo long sometimes! So Santa did come, albeit late and in the form of my mother.

We went shopping the day after Christmas and I got all kinds of goodies: a fossil watch, make up make up make up, tons of clothes and other neccessities. It was good fun and it's sad to say that material things do make me happy.

I know my family loves me but they need to loosen their grip a bit and trust my judgement.

I've always been good and have never done anything to embarrass them, always getting good grades, never getting in trouble, etc...

How am I supposed to learn anything if I can't make my own mistakes or think for myself? I think I'm old enough.
