One question, if they're going to be sticking with the original name of Castiel then why would they have changed Azazel's name from Asasiel?

I'm not sure if I'm right about this or not, but I'm pretty sure from what I've seen in my own research, that they're just alternate spellings.

And it might be because there's another angel named Cassiel.
I need to read the bible now.

Um, doesn't Sam have some demon blood in him or at least leftovers? Wouldn't that counteract all the holyness of angels?
I'm on Dean's side with all the attention - it creeps me out.

Well after all at the begining in 1st episode the blood of Azazel fall on Sam's face. And he was from those special kids...And we still doesn't know anything about mama Winchester's past. Like Ruby said to Sam in season 3 all her friends died and asked him to check his mother's past. So God knows where all this will end up.

I believe I read at one time that there is both an AZAZEL and an ASASIEL, they are two separate entities. I may be remembering wrong though but it seems like the similarity in the names was brought up not too long ago.

I have around 6 bibles laying around the house at the moment. I haven't read any of them in ages but I think I will be brushing up on revelations at the very least now thanks to this show haha.

5. The new Ruby. Notice how she tries to speak the way KC used to speak while being in character--y'know, how KC's lips move while she's talking? I think the Wildfire girl is trying to imitate that.
THANK YOU!!! I've noticed that, too, and it's driving me nuts. She's trying way too hard to become Katie Cassidy's Ruby, and it is not working.

As for Castiel and Azazel, I'm not sure about the brothers thing you've got worked out here, but I'm convinced Azazel was in fact a fallen angel, and therefore I don't believe that Sam's connection to him has to automatically mean he's going to go bad... I don't think Azazel was good, mind you, but I also don't think the power he's given Sam has to result in evil...
But then, I'm also very possibly crazy. :)

I KNOW!!!! MAN. I saw that and I wanted to throw something at her face!

no worries, I'm also very possibly crazy. and yeah, Sam's ability is to kick the demon's ass to hell not the other way around, right?

I don't know what the Wildfire girl's name is, but she is not very good. Which is kind of disappointing, because I got my hopes up when I saw her in her first scene, 'cause she was pretty okay there. I was all 'oh, okay, maybe she's gotten better than she was that one time I watched five minutes of Wildfire'... No. No, she hasn't. She's seriously trying too hard. She needs to make the character her own, otherwise it's not going to work.

lol, exactly. I guess I feel like everyone thinks Sam's going to go bad, so they're not going to do that... Though I do think he's going to start going 'dark side,' if only because of the shadowing over Sam's eyes in the diner scene in the premiere...
But again, I'm sometimes insane. :)

well heck, i thought i was the only one who noticed that! but the thing about Sam is that he has training and can probably control his mind enough to not let his power overtake him, right?

I don't think she'd be able to do that with what she's showing right now.
She seems, idk, lost.
I know I'm being mean but I can't help but judge.

ALSO. icon? nice crossover.
