Anyways i can see why you think he is invading...cos you already have a dad...that is probably frustrating to deal with...

I do like shannon...but um just getting a picture..it almost feels like he is replacing my dad....somehow...even though i know he is not, it just feels concrete this way...but i cant not do it...

I dont think your over acting...i mean it is like an intrusion it is just human reaction...just don't go and overly negative about it...keep it in perspective i guess you could say..
