My mom rocks.
I noticed my mom was humming something really softly and gently under her breath. She's making sushi and fried plantains (I don't understand the combination) for her New Year's Party. It all seemed so serene until I realized the song she was humming with such concentration was "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star." -
SAT II's
I hate SAT's, and a lot of the schools that I'm applying to require them. Swarthmore (and some other schools that I care less about) requires either the ACT or the 2 Subject Tests. Contra Dancing
I was invited to go out into Lancaster City tonight-- for my Saturday off from the band season-- to go Contra Dancing. My friends, Jacob, Mo, and Lizzy, have already gone, so I'll go with them. Online Shopping
Most people are fairly surprised when I tell them I really enjoy makeup. This is probably because most high schoolers associate makeup with whore-y-ness or insecurity. I hope I never look whore-y, and I consider it more of a hobby than an insecurity ( Read more... )
