i'm still doing my running thing. today I ran about 4 miles. it's actually easier to run in the evening, so no more of this getting up early nonsense. wahoo!

I've officially started training for my marathon (which I don't know if I'm actually running yet, but I'd rather start training now and give my body more time to adjust to the idea of running 26.2 mi. Today I applied to be a Charity runner for the American Cancer Society for the NYC Marathon on Nov 1. I won't find out until June, but if I'm in, then it's ON like donkey kong! It's scary (I'm TERRIFIED of the training) but I'm excited and a little choked up about getting to run for cancer. I hope it works!
