Queens Quay Starbucks
I hate the Queens Quay Starbucks. Every other time I go there they make some mistake. Last night was the worst, I ordered a decaf iced vanilla latte but I'm sure they gave me a caffeinated one. The barista didn't say "decaf" when he gave it to me, I should have known but didn't think of it till later. I was up till 5am!!!!! Zombie day :( -
The Happiest Toddler on the Block
I finished reading this book yesterday and found it to be a great help. I like the approach the author, Dr. Harvey Karp, proposes and his techniques are for the most part wonderful. Giving up my iPod for a Walkman
It took me three days to figure out that there was another side to the tape. St Andrew's organic farmers market
A new, all organic (!) farmers market opened up a few mins from our place. We got some strawberries there, OMG they are to die for. I tried some pesticide strawberries a few weeks ago and as usual, they gave me a stomach ache that lasted a few hours. runaway stroller
As we were coming home from the doctor's office this morning, I saw a double stroller rolling free toward the very busy intersection of Front and Spadina. My mouth opened wide, let out a big gasp, and right before the stroller hit a car a judge came out of nowhere and grabbed it. Just in the nick of time! Ikea customer service really sucks. I should have known by the way they make you go to a warehouse and pick up your own furniture, and by how you have to assemble it yourself. Customer service is another way they cut corners, apparently ( Read more... ) -
