Best films of 2005

2005 was a good year. A wide variety of well-made films were released this year, many of them coming in below then advertising radar to be wonderful surprises.

I saw 60 films in the theater this year. Here are my 10 favorites.

They need to show ten times more previews in the HUB so I can actually go to movies during the school year...especially because it's free and I'm broke. I want to see almost all the movies you listed (minus Batman Begins and Good Night, and Good Luck because I saw those). You're right--Good Night, and Good Luck was really, really good. Makes me want to dig up anything else that George Clooney has directed and watch all of those, too.

Grizzly Man looked interesting when I saw the trailer for it. But I couldn't figure out what happened to him as I haven't had time to see the movie. Did they ever explain cause of death?
