[Voice/Action]: Friends need to stop getting owned

Feb 07, 2010 05:13

[Well after everything that has been happening as of late, Luffy has been thinking. A lot. Well maybe not a LOT LOT cause thinking too much would give him a fever, but ya know. A moderate amount. And while he wants to get stronger to protect everyone and free everyone from this prison, he can’t seem to do that without his friends getting hurt, or ( Read more... )

thinking, addressing the masses, doesn't do this often, too late/early for witty tags, nakama are important

That depends on whether you favor a defensive or offensive strategy.

[He's tried both sooo. Have a shrug]

It doesn't matter...

[Omi closes his eyes to think.]

First you need to take an inventory of sorts-- everyone and everything that can help in protecting them. You can count me in, if it means anything.

[That is one hell of a lousy filter, captain. She's tempted to tell him the truth - you can't - but that's probably not going to help much. Wonder what set this off.

...like she really has to make more than one guess.]

...Luffy.

What are you doing looking at this, I locked it!

It's a lousy lock. Want me to make it better?

You can do that!?

[Jay can actually sort of relate to this question. Back home, he always felt like he had to protect the Oresoren, but there were quite a lot of them to protect. Although he had come to realize the Oresoren's own strength, he still didn't want any harm to come to them.]

It's true that you can't watch them all the time. You'll just need to believe in your friends' own strength.

But all of them don't fight though.

But certainly they're smart enough to keep themselves out of trouble, right?

[Well that pisses him off. Not necessarily what Jay said though. Just the fact of the matter.]

None of my friends... none of them were ever looking for trouble. [He clinches his fist] But those bastards. They-- [--attacked them anyway. But he doesn't say the full thing. He let's it trail off from there. If there was ANYway to avoid fighting. Nami, Miyabi, and Vash probably all would've took that route. Which means they were just attacked randomly for no damn reason whatsoever]

I've just been thinking about it...

[Yup gonna be blunt. If you don't know what happened to Nami and her friend, you probably won't find out from him.]

Hnnn. I thought they all would by themselves, but I should probably just get them all together if that's the case.

[Voice] SORRY! Dunno how I skipped this! gomugomunopwn February 7 2010, 23:09:25 UTC
Shishishi! That's true!

They'll be able to protect each other much better if I tell them all to do that, and then I can focus on getting stronger!
