There has been an Amber Alert sounded for a 5-year-old girl not seen since 11 this morning. We are the only station covering this! I have checked all of our local stations...nothing. I have checked all their websites...nothing. There isn't any other live local talk show on this time of night, so we have the only local radio newsroom open.

Update on Aunt Janaan:

I talked to my mom as she was on her way back with her sister-in-law and my dad from seeing her older sister (Janaan). Janaan is having moments of lucidity. For a few minutes she may be fine, but then she gets confused as to why she is surrounded by all the wires. She sometimes forgets she is not at home and tries to get out ( Read more... )

My Aunt Janaan fell today and broke her neck. I don't know her situation except that they have many tests to run and she is ICU. She was hurrying down the stairs and fell.
