So now, more than five years after skinny jeans have become trendy, I like them. And my only pair, bought on a whim for less than $20, are dying, and skinny jeans are no longer "in" for plus-sized clothing stores - unless I want to order them off the internet, and buy five sizes for the crapshoot that that is, and pay $8 a pair to return them.*

I'm not sure what size you wear, but Old Navy carries skinny jeans up to size 20 I think.

I also get skinny jeans from Bluenotes and they have 34" waist (I'm not sure what that equals to...a 16?).

It took me awhile to get into skinny jeans myself, but now I love wearing them with boots so much!

What site do you order off of?

I'm generally a 16/18, but I often get the 18 and run the jeans through the dryer once or take in the waist rather than deal with them being a bit tight across the hips/thighs.

I actually stopped in at Old Navy after I read your comment because I'd never tried buying them there before, but the closest I got was a pair that seems to fall completely off my butt in a matter of minutes... the smaller size doesn't fit comfortably around my calves, so I guess I'll be returning them, too. Thanks for your suggestion, though.

I don't normally order clothes online, because I hate the waste of money required in sending back what doesn't fit/work. Normally I just tell myself to be patient, and that eventually I'll find what I like in a brick & mortar store. As for skinny jeans, though, I was considering ordering them off of torrid.com, because they carry plus sized skinny jeans all year long, in the dark wash/denim stitch detail that I like.
