I love Tori Amos. My name obviously shows that for anyone keen enough to her music. My journal used to have many themes of her until I decided to switch it back to an SP theme for a while...
Hey there. I found you while I was searching for other Pitt students so I added you because you obviously have excellent taste in music (Tori, Tool, Placebo...) and are majoring in fiction like me. =p
My name is Matt Minchew and I am an 18 year old singer-songwriter out of Chicago, IL. I recently recorded my first album in 2 nights at a home recording studio located in South Florida and I am trying to spread the word about it pending it’s release. The album has been titled, "On The Verge of Something More".
My influences range from Counting Crows to Dashboard Confessional. Fans of John Mayer, Howie Day, Brand New, The Early November, and similar groups may enjoy the music I create.
Anyway, all I ask is that you give it a chance. To listen to free mp3, visit my site @ http://mattminchew.iuma.com. I plan on posting more songs as the album’s release nears. If you like what you hear, leave me a comment or e-mail me at either Mathiason1@hotmail.com or MattMinchew@hotmail.com. Thank you so much for your time! I hope to hear from you soon!
Support independent music!!
Musically yours, Matt Minchew
PS: I’m sorry for bothering you, but I had a feeling you might be interested in what I had to say. If not, feel free to
