Having read through "The Reader", I conclude that he is much more laughable than pitiable (like me, I imagine). The movie is probably different, I'm stilling waiting on that. Went to Mt. Washington in NH to meet up with schoonerbug and do some cross-country skiing. Even in VT the snow is melting, and at the resort the snow had melted and refrozen into sheer ice in many places. One tended to travel very quickly with little control. Just found a really great graphic novel online. Someday I should probably purchase the hard copy direct from the publisher. Therefore Repent! follows some characters that Jim Munroe had used before into an apocalyptic future.
