Ah, I LOVE doing "Negative space"-icons. You can really do so much with it.

Your guide is amazing! Thank you so much for sharing. I just read over it a bit and I already found some new techniques I really want to try out! *goes right to memories*

*high fives back"...even though my "negative space"-icons are nothing compared to yours and the other pretty ones in this post. <3

By the way, I would love to read your tutorial on the "clone tool" (my enemy argh! -.-), but the link you posted doesn't work. ;__;

Fixed that, it should take you to the tutorial now. :)

And thank you. Although I wouldn't sell myself short if I were you. I mean, look at these beauties:

This is fabulous, thank you! Most of my icons are close-crops (I love to focus on random body-parts), but there's only so much you can do with those--I've been looking to try something knew, but not really known/had the confidence where to start. This is the perfect springboard; I look forward to trying out the tips and techniques, there's so much creativity out there that I haven't dared try...

I love your attitude and I'm so glad this guide helped you get creative. For me it was the other way around: I started with negative space and then at some point decided to start working on my close crops as well. I'm still learning, but as long as people keep writing tutorials and sharing their tips and tricks, we'll both be fine. ;)

Thank you for your lovely comment! :)
