I'm sitting here at work -- minding my own business, while one of the people I work with is having a rousing conversation with my most recent ex-girlfriend, with no regard to me being here. Wow...that message she left you WAS completely unnecessary and ridiculous. Like you said, if you had both just left things how they were, everything could have just been normal, but she apparently does have quite the ego.

Anyway...maybe if you look at it this way...if you hate her so much, maybe it'll help you get over her completely & move on to better (obviously) situations.

Oh, Elm, you fantastic young lady. Yeah, it's really no fun hating some one, when you really didn't have to. But, I'm trying to move on. It's hard, though. Like, for example, I've been seeing this one girl a couple times -- she's okay; pretty good-looking; nice enough. But, there's something missing with her. I don't know, maybe it's my problem -- I'm unfairly measuring her against the most recent girl I dated. I can't help it, though. As much as things might have sucked in my last relationship at points, I deny the fact that she was at least interesting, and I could carry on an actual conversation with her. To sum-up: This whole thing just sucks.

It's nice to hear from you. I'm glad that you and I haven't managed to lose touch completely. Infact, I'd very much like to hear more from you. You're a swell gal.

wow...i haven't checked my email nor my LJ in a really long time...actually since i wrote that comment, so I only just got your comment now.

How are things going w/ that new girl? I hope things have progressed to your liking.
