The events of last night are horrid. To think that a member of my own house is no longer here. I helped the other teachers make sure that the castle was safe. I don't know what to say or what to do. Well, I've spent most of the day getting caught up on my grading. Only to move on to organizing the classroom, yet again. I do wish that some of the students would work on their aim. Well, I started out this wonderful day with a rather nasty hangover. It's quite sad, seeing as I didn't have that much to drink. It's all because I am so short. Well, I have no need to prepare for my classes tomorrow. I usually don't do lessons where all we do is take notes but that is what I plan on doing tomorrow. After last weeks lesson I don't think the students or myself for that matter would be able to handle another strenuous practical lesson. I'm currently grading the homework of those students who participated in the anger charm. I am amazed that some students thought that they would get credit for turning in homework that stated that they weren't there for class so they didn't do the charm or that they were there but didn't feel like participating ( Read more... )

Well, my lessons did not go as badly as I thought that they might have. Unfortunatley some students still need to work on their cheering charms. Some were just not up to par and as a result there were some minor injuries. Nothing permanent though. I know the students are very confused about the charm and I hope next Tuesdays class will clear it up ( Read more... )

Tomorrow I shall teach the students a charm that I have never taught before. I do hope that they are able to handle it with maturity. The anger charm can be very dangerous. I'm ever so excited to be back at Hogwarts. I arrived later than some of the other teachers but I'm still excited to be here nonetheless. I've got some fun lessons planned for this year and can't wait to get started. I hope the students have enjoyed there summer. I've heard that they had a rather interesting camping trip.
