ITA. Much to my surprise, I too enjoyed the Wonder Twins - the actress in particular played her part which just enough camp but not a dose to much. The DA was a little too OTT for me, but you're right that sometimes that's what the show needs to shake things up.
And yes, major props for the return of shirtless Clark! Here's hoping we get some fun icons to commemorate the event!
Can I borrow your zen, because I am so not there with Chloe. AHHHH, the way they are writing her character, and her interaction with Clark, is making me nuts!!
Still didn't feel like enough Clark. And I wouldn't be surprised if he's yet again getting trumped by Lois in the ST totals. I wonder if I should even bother expecting anything different this season? Clearly a pattern has been established. Whether or not it will change in the second half of the season? Is anyones guess. Imagine though how great an ep would be if we got Clark' POV like we did Lois' in her therapist scenes. ::sighs::
Yes to all this. I could've written all this myself, in fact (and probably will when I finally write my review).
The Wonder Twins were actually so much more fun then I thought they'd be. And I really did appreciate how they were written to be all about The Blur, and we saw Clark be the one to truly show them the way. What a nice change from the more recent MO of this show.

It's not easy, but I think I've sort of accepted that this a pattern with Chloe now. I don't like the way the characters written, I think there's something seriously wrong there, in fact. Yet I just don't think the show itself agrees with me at all.

This is exactly it, and why I ended up enjoying them too. Because for once, as opposed to recent DC stars like Zatanna (who I actually liked, but that's another story) or Toyman (who I also think fared much better in his latest ep, but again, different story) or Roulette, the WT' were brought on solely as part of Clark' story.
At first, I thought Lois revealed Clark's secret to the therapist too, but going back to that scene and rewatching, she never actually said that Clark was the Blur to the therapist. She still called him her 'mystery caller' as did the therapist.
The LAST scene, the therapist had figured out from what happened that the mystery caller was the Blur, but by that point, Lois no longer believed that the Blur and Clark were one and the same.
So that made me feel a bit better.
I liked the DA too, and I surprisingly enjoyed the Wonder Twins.
I thought Tom hit it out of the park in this episode, one of my favorite moments is that sorta dreamy smitten look that comes over Clark's face as he watches Lois defend him at the press conference. It was just perfect.

He was great throughout. And I agree, I loved how he looked at her during the press conference too.

Yeah, exactly. Given the premise of the show and certain eps? I honestly don't think the OTTness is always such a bad thing.
And shirtless!Clark was just glorious!

I know. I've often felt SV gets rid of some supporting players way too early.
