Try not to fret about being sick and disgusting in front of him and having to tell him about your menstrual cycle; you might think of it as the beginnings of profound intimacy. Maybe just a little too profound for the moment... ;)

And think of what a stunning improvement you'll have made if you happen to see him again; even everyday slobbiness will be better than drippy sinus infections.

At least I was dressed for work and had make-up on and all that. It could have been worse. Still, I'm rather relieved that I WON'T be seeing him again.
