Omgsh! The most awesome 5k race I've done thus far.

So, I did my 4th 5k run/walk race (called Cadillac Firecracker) this morning at 7. I love that it was my 4th on the 4th. My personal goal was to to be finished with it in an hour. Mind you, my previous races have been over an hour (and my first was an hour and 29 minutes). I knew that if I paced myself well, that doing it in an hour was feasible. ( Read more... )

I know!! Can you believe it!?!?! I was soo amazed at myself and I can really see how much going to the gym 5 days a week early in the morning has really benefited me. It really helped with increasing my endurance. It's so amazing how far I've come in 7 months!
