A Dream...

With a sickening THUD my knees buckle out from under me, and I fall onto my face. I try to open my eyes, but they burn and water when the light hits them...I try to pull myself up, but there's nothing, and every inch of me feels beaten and sore. I roll over in agony, and the floor itself feels on fire. I want nothing more than to leave, to be free
