I can't be the only person who finds the whole "April Fool" thing deeply tiresome, surely...?

I agree, which is why some sites - slashdot, I am looking at you - become completely tiresome today because you are never sure if something on there is a spoof, a real spoof (as in, a spoof from the company whose product it is), or real...

Y'know, I had April Fools Day marked on the calendar weeks ago - complete with an amusing drawing of a coxcomb - and STILL I completely missed it. Oddly, it would seem that a professional comedian, such as me, would always have that one on the radar. After all, April IS National Humor Month. (No, seriously - congress took time out of their busy schedules for that one at some point.)

So perhaps you're right. April Fools must be beneath me. Thank you for showing me this empirical truth!
