We've had the inspection done by an inspector our lender recommended. A broken seal on a double pane window is the most serious thing he found. Thank you. I'm really looking forward to it. It will be interesting to see if it changes the way we live. This house has a really big garage, which means a lot of tools and power equipment can live out there AND get used out there. No more sawdust in the kitchen!

Cool! That sounds great. And I agree about not getting your hopes up to high. I understand house sales are a leap of faith. Things can go wrong out of the blue.

But I hope everything works out. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. (People do buy houses, so it must work out some of the time.)

Thank you! Please do. I kinda don't want to get really invested because I would be so disappointed if it fell through but I also want to be excited and plan and daydream about what color to paint and all that stuff. You know how it is. Keep a good thought for me.

Absolutely pictures when it's a done deal! The real estate agent and I both thought the stove was electric when we were first looking at the house but I took some pictures when the inspector was there and just happened to have one with the stove in it. Turns out it's gas. Yay! We knew the house was heated with natural gas but I could have sworn the stove was electric. We were going to replace it as soon as we could. Now we don't have to.
