When we got home yesterday we found our Roomba stopped outside the hall bathroom surrounded by shredded toilet paper. The roll was empty. Apparently the tissue had unrolled to the floor and Roomba sucked it up and ran off with it.

Oh well, at least we don’t have to buy litter for it.

Yesterday as I was walking into the grocery store I was stopped by an African-American man about my age (I'm 61, white and kinda frumpy-looking). He said "I saw the Obama bumpersticker on your car and I just wanted to say thank you." For some reason, I was incredibly touched.

In response to an article in Jezebel bemoaning the marketing trend of making special “pink, for the ladies” versions of stuff that isn’t female specific, one of which was a motorcycle. The responder, while in agreement with the article, actually likes pink.

We finally replaced our old 30" Trinitron CTR with a flat screen. This one. Wow! We hooked it up to the computer so we can watch youtube and other stuff off the internet and, well, frankly, I don't see any reason to ever leave the house again.
