Cats are individuals like birds. Sometimes they want attention and sometimes they do not.

She is hormonal but she's also moody and not a morning bird. Basically her attitude is "keep your damn worm, I'm sleeping in."

My dog friends say their dogs are pretty much always happy to see them and my cat friends say cats are moody.

My two greys always like to be with us. Not 'in your face' but in the room. They are very sweet and greyt dogs to have around, but I never remember a time where I felt they want to be left alone. I have not had any cats for years.

The dog (a female chihuahua) is moody as all get out. Sometimes she just sits on my footstool with her back to me and won't even turn her head when I call her to get in my lap.

The cat? When she asks for attention, it's a big enough deal that it makes it to the journal.

So, yes. The dog and cat are definitely moody.
