Updated living room media PC to Natty Narwhal. Got stuck at (get this) a "grub rescue>" prompt which accepted no commands. Way to go Ubuntu. Solution? Boot from CD, mount and chroot to the hard drive (be sure to get the correct device and partition, you remember that, right?) and the re-install grub.
