Yeah, ladyfriend called me afterwards and I was like "you did WHAT?" It's for the best, though. I think people will vote in favour of whatever, just so long as they have the chance to vote on it, and it'll make everyone feel happier.
Not looking for war, Naja. Just looking out for the interests of ALL queer students, and trying to remind you that there is a process you have to stick to when it comes to decisions regarding the queer space. I've been around a long time and I've seen people try to bipass the whole bringing-things-to-the-collective before-making-a-decision thing, and believe me it always ends badly. If you recall the previous women's day/hour debate, it was not just the actual women's day people had a problem with, it was mainly the way in which a decision which would effect everyone in the lounge had been made without everyone being able to take part in the decision
