So that I could have something mildly constructive to do with my time, I signed up to Femslash 09 as a writer and I'm terrified. Partly because I read so much damned het these days, and partly because it's incredibly likely I'll have to write Harry Potter or Buffy, the canon of both I am not quite so familiar with these days (and sometimes mix up. From memory, Alicia's last name is Spinnet, and she was one of the Chasers on the Griffindor Quidditch team..

So yes, she's a Griffindor! :D

I'm always happy to do a canon read-through for Potter-verse if you need one. And those kind of non-pairings are actually totally easy, because you can do whatever you want with them, so you just write about the kind of characters you WANT to write about *g*

That said, sometimes being forced to write about stuff you'd never consider yourself can bring out some of your best work.

It's a thing where people put in requests for stories they want written, in return for writing a story for someone else, except it's all with girl/girl centric stuff :D

That would be awesome if I do end up with a Potter story. Like, they're kind of easy, but then everyone sort of has their own ideas on what the characters about, you know? The obscure characters are usually the ones with the most obnoxious fanon behind them.
