'Tis the season &c for a series of questions gastronomiques. Because I can't really think up the "deep & meaningful nature" stuff rn but there is always time for spam.
What is your character's favorite food?
What about drink? Do they have any particular relationship to alcohol?
Can your character cook?

Maggie's favorite food is ice cream sundaes.
She's never been seen drinking. My assumption is she has no major vice for it, but no major attraction to it--if anything, alcohol is expensive and that money can go toward books! But if someone handed her a beer at a party or something, she'd drink it.
She can cook extremely well in fact. She's the cook of her family (disaster ensues when her big sister cooks) and also bakes delicious looking cakes. She's often shown cooking Japanese food despite being a Hong Konger because the artists are lazy because they live in Japan and she works from local cookbooks.

Nothing is said in canon, but I've been roleplaying her as liking sweets and anything fresh that isn't a desert plant, just because both are relative rarities where she's from.
Likewise for alcohol, nothing is said in particular about her drinking but she lives in fucking Las New Vegas. I'm sure she's had a few rounds; I'm fairly sure it's probably mandatory to live there. Also, one of her suitemates is a whiskey ( ... )

Sanji's canon favorite food is spicy seafood pasta, with black tea. I believe his latest post also answers quite a bit about his relationship with alcoholic beverages.
Alastair likes sushi and lately has gotten a taste for Thai curry. He drinks beer but that's about it. He can maaaaybe boil water but since Bakura does all the cooking he sort of has never bothered to learn anything else.
Geddoe doesn't have a favorite food but meat dishes appeal to him, and in the City he's taken to cheeseburgers like whoa. He drinks stronger brews (ales, etc) and other straight liquors, no mixes. The only cooking he really does is over an open fire in the wilderness - roasting meat or fish, the occasional wild potato or mushroom, that's about it.
Also I'm going to bake a pie tonight! What coincidence! I'm sure I'm going to fail at it.

He drinks a lot, but he has a pretty high alcohol tolerance and very rarely gets drunk. His favorite drinks are martinis, scotch, and beer, though the latter is one of the few things he'll actually be picky about. As for non-alcoholic drinks, he will drink tea with Charles, but tends to prefer coffee. He drinks his coffee black, and will get picky about his coffee as well. Turkish coffee is his favorite. He does not know what to make of the things that he sees at Starbucks that are mostly chocolate/sugar.
He's had to be self-sufficient for a long time, and is a pretty decent cook because of it. He does not trust Charles in the kitchen, given that Charles has had other people to do his cooking for him for most of his life.
Aziraphale is kind of the opposite ( ... )

Damian has a rather strange relationship to food. Sometimes he says that he doesn't care what it tastes like as long as he gets nutrition from it, and at others he scoffs at Alfred's gourmet meals as "disgusting." Suffice to say that when something else isn't claiming his attention, he likes pretty high-end meals, and has a very international pallet. He canonly loves coffee, and drinks it black (headcanon says that he leans more ( ... )
