AS WAS CLAIMED

Shamelessly ripped off from Elle’s fighting meme, it’s the RPG / MMO meme! It's where we imagine what the game would be like and what our characters would be doing if the setting involved lots of experience points and fetch quests. Think C&C as a Bioware game or possibly World of Warcraft. Or even Pokemon with superheroes.

NAME AND ALIAS: Rikku | Machina Maw
Role: Optional party member.
Moral alignment: Neutral good.
Character Class: Thief.
Level: She is the best thief ever okay. Idk what level corresponds to that.
Abilities:
Mug: She hits an enemy and also nabs something. LIKE A CLASSY LADY.
Sweet-talk: Let's see just how persuasive she can be.
Quick Change: Idk why it's here, it's useless.
Mini-bio: Rikku decided that she needed to find a way to get by in these hard times, so she defaulted to stealing. She still lives in the City, but in something of a secret hideout. Its location is unknown to either faction, but you, good hero, can gain access to it as a safe house.
Sample of interaction with PC:
[You catch her trying to pick your pocket!!] "Oh, hey there! Uh... yeah, you dropped something, and I was trying to put it back into your pocket so you wouldn't like, worry." [It's pretty obvious that you don't believe her.] "Look, don't turn me in! C'mon, a girl's gotta eat. D'you need a safe place to stay for a night or two? I've got a little house ( ... )

NAME AND ALIAS:
Role: Quest NPC
Moral alignment: Chaotic Good
Character Class: Commoner, aka civilian. Which he would object to if he knew about it.
Level: Level 6.
Abilities: In this setting Calvin's Stupendous Man powers have been traded in for the ability to suck other people into his fantasy world. Get ready to run from dinosaurs, you poor PCs.
Mini-bio: Calvin is still a just a kid trying to stay safe and (never) grow up in the City. His quest is mainly comic relief focused and challenges the PC with trying to babysit him for a night. Emphasis on 'try.' It pays out as much XP and loot as defeating a major boss, mainly because it is that difficult.
Sample of interaction with PC: "YOU'LL NEVER TAKE MY FREEDOM, LOATHSOME TYRANT!" (Immediately followed by a water balloon)

NAME AND ALIAS: Astral | Soulbonder
Role: the party member who's far too easy to lose favor with and will ditch you eventually because he hates you
Moral alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Character Class: Ranged Attacker
Level: Level 13
Abilities: Intangibility, flight, tentacles that will slap you upside the head
Mini-bio: Astral's only getting involved with the main character to keep himself alive. If the main character makes far too many choices that could get them all killed, he's outtie. Winning his loyalty is a pain in the ass but it's possible, especially if Yuma's also recruited.
Sample of interaction with PC: NEGATIVE: "Oh my... You're more of an idiot than Yuma. I didn't think such a thing was even possible." POSITIVE: "Let's win this."

NAME AND ALIAS: Sherlock Holmes
Role: Uh he can give quests i guess?? ("This mystery is too boring, but if you solve it you can come to more interesting ones")
Moral alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Character Class: uh r-rogue...? maybe with a 'Information Master' subcass or something.
Level: top tier.
Abilities: He can find hidden passageways, clues, treasure, and also reveal who are bad guys.
Mini-bio: Sherlock uh hangs out in the tavern where people bring him quests, and the ones that bore him he doles out to other 'adventurers'. Sometimes he will join people's parties for the more 'intriguing' mysteries.
Sample of interaction with PC: "God, what is with the criminal class, these days. It's all so very dull. I suppose you might be interested in something this easy?"

NAME AND ALIAS: Tony Stark (Iron Man)
Role: Quest Giver
Moral alignment: Hero; Neutral Good
Character Class: Powerhouse. He's got it all, and Tony's good at working with very little. Without his suit, he's a bit less dangerous, but in that suit, y'all are in trouble
Level: High Level?
Abilities: Generally, he isn't aiding the PC, but he can take care of himself, and can be found using laserbeams and his mechanically aided strength to help people out if they need it.
Mini-bio: StarkTech is gone, but it isn't forgotten. Tony's housed up in the Avengers mansion now, still working his butt off on inventions, and generally, as a reward hands out free upgrades when you go and fetch things for him.
Sample of interaction with PC: "Oh, so you finally made it, huh?"
