Shamelessly ripped off from
Elle’s fighting meme, it’s the RPG / MMO meme! It's where we imagine what the game would be like and what our characters would be doing if the setting involved lots of experience points and fetch quests. Think C&C as a Bioware game or possibly World of Warcraft. Or even Pokemon with superheroes.

Role: Quest giver, place to heal your character, optional party member.
Moral alignment: Neutral goodish antihero.
Character Class: 'Scientist.' Just like in Mass Effect, Mordin is a fragile ranged attacker with powerful tech abilities.
Level: 18. He's good, but not uber-tier.
Abilities: Aside from healing, Mordin's abilities revolve around hurting people from range- Incinerate, Freeze, and Neural Shock (aka 'paralyzing amounts of nerve pain').
Mini-bio: Mordin got Ported back in after things went to shit and established himself as a neutral provider of health care to anyone who didn't piss him off. He will heal party members for free, and his quests revolve around keeping his clinic secure, getting him supplies, and helping him cure a plague. If all quests are completed, Mordin can be recruited into the party.
Sample of interaction with PC: "Zero's Children have been harassing clinic patients again. Looking for extortion money. Would take care of them, but- too busy. Too many patients, too much research! Need you to ( ... )

NAME AND ALIAS:
Role: Enemy.
Moral alignment: Neutral Evil
Character Class: Strategist. He plans ahead. badum tsh
Level: 12...? Midlevel? IDK ABOUT LEVELS OKAY
Abilities: He summons monsters and lets them fight. (holiday themed monsters). Also really high ranks in Knowledge (the Calendar)
Mini-bio: Calendar Man does what he always does - be that one villain that nobody really takes seriously yet is somehow actually competent! He's a recurring mini-boss, messing with the main party because he can.
Sample of interaction with PC: His dialogue changes depending on when you meet him, of course! Usually it is some sinister holiday themed thing, like "It's Christmas. I got you all gifts." and then sicking monsters on them IDK.

Role: Quest-giver. She has the party go find her silly things like thread and baking supplies, and in return they get random bonuses and a safe place to rest.
Moral alignment: Lawful good.
Character Class: Damsel in distress.
Level: 7.
Abilities:
Haven: Nill's presence can repel tough enemies from a circular area with a diameter of of ~30 meters for 12 hours.
My Hero: Rescuing Nill automatically gives the entire party a +2 bonus to any chosen skill for one hour.
Mini-bio: Nill holed up in her church. Everyone left her alone, because she was pretty nonthreatening. One day, wandering outside while looking for food, she was ambushed by some evildoers--good thing there was an adventurer around to save her.
Sample of interaction with PC: [A relieved smile flits over her face, and she reaches out towards your hand, her wings flicking behind your back. Seeing the surprise on your face, her hand stops short and instead begins to gesture in the general direction of her church. You think: She looks like an angel, why not ( ... )

NAME AND ALIAS: Yugi Mutou [DARK]
Role: Quest Giver
Moral alignment: Lawful Good
Character Class: That one NPC that is far too genre-savvy for their own good. Plays a role similar to fortune tellers in many RPGs, helps main characters out by giving them an idea what to do next.
Level: 18
Abilities: Penalty Game! It's something akin to a status ailment, like confusion. Don't attack him that's just stupid.
Mini-bio: He's seen this kind of shit happen before, he's used to it. Though it's strange that he's not in the main character's position this time. He'll help out whatever he can, though.
Sample of interaction with PC: "Heh. If you're looking for information, you've come to the right non-playable character."

Role: He's a monster. YEP.
Moral alignment: True Neutral (?)
Character Class: ...Monster.
Level: ???
Abilities: ??????????
Mini-bio: For some inexplicable reason, the Monster lost his human form and regained his true form, and his darkness came back completely. He mostly just waits around while rolling with it, and if he were smarter he might notice it's becoming suspiciously like his world...
Sample of interaction with PC: "Hi there! What's your name?"
