Does anyone have any experience of Plus Net? It seems to have mixed reviews, as most of these broadband providers do but it's reasonably-priced and I don't need oodles of download quota because I'm not a gamer!!

We've been with Plus Net for ages. Never had any problems. We're on dial-up at the moment, but I'm planning to upgrade to Broadband soon - I'm sticking with Plus when I do that... Good luck.

Thanks! Plus net broadband currently starts at £8.95 for a 1gb of download a month (less than I'm currently paying for orange's "will it/won't it connect today" dial-up) but there seems to be a free download period in the wee hours if you need to get service patches and stuff. I thought it sounded a bit too good to be true but I suppose most people want loads of download quota.

Guess it all depends on how much you do online. 1gb can disappear in no time if you watch videos or have many promos to download.

Pipex have really good reviews, I'm still with demon who I've been with for years though
