I finished reading China Mieville's latest book set in the Bas-Lag world, Iron Council.  Mieville is also the author of Perdido Street Station and The Scar, both excellent and creative books that I highly recommend.  Iron Council deals with sedition and rebellion in Bas-Lag's powerful city-state New Crobuzon.  The story moves between two groups of ( Read more... )
