It's time for part two of zombie hunters! This is probably only really relevant to the people actually participating in the costume group, but we need to start working out color combos and stuff. Also, how many masks to make, etc etc

Squee! I'm liking the darker browns for the masks. And what type of hat was Scone planning? I really like the delicate looking one that you sketched out on my costume.

Guh . . . I need to figure out the costume for Zombie Baby. I'd prefer to stay away from any skin painting (blood, etc), and any head gear - she'll only be about 4.5 months at that point... But I think I can work a collar-type thing out of soft pseudo leather/suede... And cute-yet-non-binding Victorian baby clothes! Yesh!

And I'll have to remember to dig out the zombie make up that I bought for Thriller last year. That kit was awesome.

What about a bloody lace christening gown for the baby? It's very zombie/ victorian but still comfy for the baby, also easy access for diaper changes.

Oh hers is going to be an ACTUAL man's bowler hat with some foofoo feathers stuck on it, so honestly anything else is open game I think. XP

Yeah I definitely agree; there are cute enough things that can be done with just the outfit (besides, she may even be sleeping alot so we might even want to make a little pram sheet to bring down over her). Maggie's blood idea sounds HILLARIOUS too.

You were thinking of a crimson corset, right? It sounds like everyone is actually doing some sort of crimson, white/ivory, brown, and maybe black! I need to figure out Dan's colors though. He wanted a pith hat but I'm kinda bleh about that color. Maybe we can find a darker, blood splattered one. >XP

So I think I may not be totally clear on the back-story/ themes of the group. I had been thinking that the hunters were a cohesive group or team and that was why they would all match

Mostly! The hunters are definitely a team of specialists, each with their own personalities, own weapons, and styles. In fact one thing I think would be super fun if the group is a hit would be to even make a little website with pictures, character info, and victorian-style How to Survive a Zombie Attack.. Everyone will have the same mask, goggles, and probably some sort of broach or armband with the group (still haven't decided on the name) symbol, and everyone needs gloves. However, other than those pieces to tie everyone together, the outfits can be whatever people would like. Right now everyone I know of is doing some sort of combination of brown, crimson, ivory, and black. Also, all of the girls happen to be in pants/corset combos
