Now, now. That's not true. There is always something one can do get out of the situation they are in. You have to look on the bright side every once in a while. And you come back to school for some kind of reason, may it be for the comfort of routine or not, you still at least make an effort, right? Just that, makes you a lot better than many people. You may think that you are just walking around in circles, but in actuality you are trying to find yourself... maybe testing the waters before actually taking the plunge into the outside world. It's okay to be different... don't ever give someone else that much power over you as to judge you so. They simply have no right.
