Because I'm a total dork - my hunter finally hit level 70! Flying mount! It's only taken me 15 months playing off and on with my other chars (though by /played, it's been 30 days). All hail rested XP and DAMN, getting that flying mount is expensive. I was sitting on 1200 or so. After armor upgrades, the riding skill and the mount? I'm near to broke ( Read more... )

Ooh, awesome! What server do you play on? My 70's also a hunter, though my belf paladin hit 62 last night, so she's getting there. ^_^ And get onto the Shattered Sun Offensive daily quest round--you make piles of cash doing dailies (plus loot), although I had a lot of fun running through all the quests I could find in Outland, well before that.

And just wait until you get your epic flyer, it's freaking amazing!

I'm on Llane with a whole buncha folks I know. Right now, trying to finish up quests just seems a little overwhelming. But yay, I need cash!

Awesome. I'm on Earthen Ring (Hordeside) with some old friends, which is both fun and frustrating at various times. ^_^

I'd barely touched Netherstorm by the time I hit 70 (I think I was in Blade's Edge, eking out every last drop of Cenarion Expedition rep), and made something like 800 gold in a day just running through quest after quest after quest. But the dailies also mean plenty cash, plus extra-good rewards, so either route (or both, although 25 dailies takes awhile) is pretty much made of win. ^_^

Congrats!

Now comes all the dailies and rep grinds and saving up for the epic flyer...

^_^

How're you liking the new Sunwell quests?

Chaotic. I'm too lazy to log in every day and do the Sunwell quests. My real problem is because I am such a casual player, I'd like to do dungeon-y stuff and get the cool armor, I'm lousy at it. And I'm don't feel confident enough to join the guild I am in to do stuff. So at 70 it's kind 'well, what do I do now?' because I've also not been one to grind for rep and stuff.
