Y'know I have spent years wanting another season of this, another season of that. Begging for more of the story of characters I'd grown to love. Because the story wasn't done, there was no sense of closure. So, so, so many shows I could put on that list. I cannot tell you how much I love this damned show. And I just saw the first episode.
Jimmy McNulty is so dreamy.
Though, my other favorite character has not made an appearance.
It's like so much fuckin' crack. I have no idea what I'm going to do when this season ends. -

I hate being so fucking tired that I wanna cry. And you can't sleep because everything bothers you. Random itches, noises, lights. What's more I get to work a 12 hour shift. And I'm sick. Someone shoot me. Please. -
So, in the good news, bad news arena
Bad news first. Yet again, my father spent about a week (last Sunday to Sunday) in ICU on a ventilator for pneumonia. It also appears he's left the hospital yesterday, without anyone letting me know. I haf returned!
I have returned from my annual pilgrimage back to the state of my birth. Once again, I return, grateful I do not have to stay there for overlong. I got to see my best friend, her husband and kids, my mother, my brother and his wife and my nephew. It was a good visit, not nearly long enough. You know as someone who used to (and might still) come across as very brusque, you know it has to be bad when I can say that about another person. Also, it pisses me off, so very much and I want to drown her in a shallow pool of water. It's not that what she says is bad or wrong, just how she does it makes me want to beat her with a 2x4. -

I'd always wondered about being a lucid dreamer. If I could do it and stuff. I mean, I knew when I dreamed, most the time I knew consciously that it was a dream, but I never tried to affect any change.
