Audrey had had a long day! It seemed as if every day since graduating from school was filled to the brim of preparing and planning not only her upcoming wedding, but her future as Mrs. Preston Victore. Who would have thought so many details had to go into things that happened after the wedding? Never did she mind, however, for as time drew nearer she knew that all the painstaking preparations would be well worth her while

Preston's face lit up as Audrey answered the door; he honestly hadn't expected to see her so soon, as he was accustomed to going through the House Elves and then occasionally a parent or two while she kept him waiting. Oh, he never minded. He was charming and pleasant and her delays always made him anticipate seeing her even more

Audrey let the shock that had taken over her fade away as he pulled her in for a hug. She returned it eagerly, just as excited to have him visit as he was. Preston grinned even wider as she rolled her eyes at him. Ah, she was too beautiful, even when she was playfully annoyed with him. It had to be love.
He shrugged out of his coat, being careful to leave his sleeve rolled down as he hung it on the coat rack nearby. "I believe that somewhere a bit more private is ideal," he replied, giving her a devious grin that lit up his eyes in a way she knew all too well.
So, marriage was an important thing. Wedding night, blah blah blah. But that definitely didn't stop Preston from enjoying privacy with his future bride, being wrapped up in her and kissing those luscious lips of hers to his heart's content.
He didn't think she minded, either.
Glancing around for her parents (paranoid? no?!), he grabbed her hand and gave her a nod to lead the way to their own little oasis. He was eager to not only be with her and ask her how she had been, but to get down to business. Quality time plus snogging plus sharing his news with her -- it was to be a great evening, indeed.
