President Buttigieg.
He's my current choice, hands down.

I agree.

I wonder about his electability, though: Not a lot of name recognition.

I've heard a lot of people say that, and the common reply is - neither did Barack Obama.

He was born on my 37th birthday. And he's 37.

Pete Buttigieg is the human rebuttal to everything Mike Pence stands for.
And it appears his name is becoming VERY recognizable.
I really like his thoughts on revamping this partisan supreme court nomination process. AND I like that he says, "this is just one way" not "this is the only way."

And he's trending. :)

PLUS! Joe and Pete share the same birthday!

my girl, Margaret, met him this weekend at a SWSX conference and was AWED by him. she is on-board.
i was embarrassed to have not even heard of him, well, there are SO MANY dem candidates.
i also don't know about his electability (sp?), but he seems such a good one.

He came across my radar via twitter about a month ago. I watched him on Pod Save America and was frankly stunned with his communication skills, knowledge and he has ideas. At this point in the game, I don't believe his electability is an issue. We need to see him included in the debates. Let other's hear him.
And besides, how REVOLUTIONARY is it, we have a viable smart gay candidate running for president. That alone is thrilling, in my eyes, at least.

Me, too.

I don't know what it says that my favorite candidates are always the most improbable ones ...

It's a long shot, yes, but he's getting name recognition. And let's wait and see where he is after the debates. Send him $20, he needs to be on that stage.
Which are only three months away!

It's true, it's true! And the DNC is looking at 12 separate debates beginning in June with the last one in April 2020.
The bots will go berserk on social media.
