How is the book?

What I enjoyed most was at the end of each story the author Ted Chiang comments on how the story originated in his imagination, what did he see, read or hear that influenced him. There are nine stories total and I've listened to four so far. It's kind of heady stuff, I don't really enjoy much sci-fi/fantasy but I'm liking this one because it's very comprehendible. I especially like the one time-travel story he wrote about, it was original.

Yeah, just make sure the dog is trained to move to the side when he/she is hauling the humanoid down sidewalks. This kid was moving fast.
