Paint Leftovers

I decided it was time to clean off my painting board, lots of piled-up acrylic paints spattered all over the place. Using the palette knife, I began scrapping off the paint, quickly breaking it into tiny pieces. It didn't take long to notice these blots of multi- blended colors were too cool to just toss in the garbage. So I saved them, not knowing ( Read more... )

Interesting, do you see the original white background drawing AND the brown background drawing? Or just the same image repeated. The brown one was repeated when your comment appeared in my email box.

Hmm, might be due to my using my color scheme to read my friend's page because, if I click through to your page, I do see the original.

Those are so cool! The colors stand out better on the dark background, but it also makes some of the figures look almost looney. Especially the guy with the pitchfork, who on the light background looks goofy but good-natured. On the dark background he's a psychotic serial killer. Maybe it's the white eyes.

Interesting observation regarding the farmer guy. You're right, he looks like the devil with a pitchfork on the negative piece.
