We've moved, David's out of the Air Force and working a new job, Josh is over a year old, Christmas has come and gone, I've had a hysterectomy, the boys are both over 5'9, and that's all I can think of right now. It does look like things might get to become boring for a while. I'm looking forward to some mundane.

It is so nice to not work and be able to hang out with my kids. Emily is here for a few more weeks, then her and Cody will go to San Antonio for the remainder of the summer. Jacob will spend some time here and there with his Dad. I like them all here, but it will also be nice when they're all gone and I have Joshua to myself. He is getting so ( Read more... )

Well, let's see. It's Summer now. Emily is here for her visit. David is working at Domino's as a second job for us to save some money for our move in November to Where-Ever-That-May-Be, Texas. Yup. It's happening. A little at a time. I'm more and more granola all the time. I just had the concept explained to me not too long ago and I'm starting to fit the bill. "Crunchy" or "Granola" moms are breastfeeding, baby-wearing, baby food-making, cloth diapering moms. The crunchy comes from the granola which comes from the all natural side ( Read more... )

I sure do have a wonderful baby. He's sleeping so well at night and is so sweet and cheerful during the day. The only time he cries is if I take too long getting to him when he wakes up or if he needs his diaper changed. I'm so thankful he's not one of those to just cry to hear himself cry. Wow. Joshua will be three weeks old tomorrow. He was 9 lb 3 oz and 21 inches long. He is really a pretty baby. Other than not sleeping a whole lot, I feel great. He's gonna be here this afternoon. Should be an interesting day. I didn't sleep worth crap last night, but that's ok. I'm way nervous about the c-section. More nervous about the spinal block than the surgery, actually, so once that's done, I'm sure I'll be a little better about it all. I just got home from my 36 week sono and appointment. Joshua is already 8 lb and 8 oz. They said they fully expected him to be over 10 lbs. Wow! So, I went ahead and scheduled a c-section for the 22nd at 12:15. They wouldn't do it any earlier for me because it was taking a risk on his lungs being developed enough.
