Need to find balance

I'm trying to make changes in many aspects of my life to bring about balance. I know, not as easy as it seems, right? I just feel like everything is spinning out of control lately. I can't seem to grasp a hold of just one thing and put it in order. *sigh*

The GM is full of S#$t if the comments that caused your issue were on the GUILD chat line and you were written off/ ignored/ etc.
Good call to leave it, though sad if there were other people there you like.

You did the right things... I didn't follow you out, I walked out right beside you. Fjord better hope he never meets me again... NO ONE talks to my lady that way and gets away with it...

Most of the folks I cared about split with us, too.

I mean in game of course... OOG I've never met the player and don't expect to. In-game Pyrolysis has a stack of Arcane Missiles all set for Fjord's fuzzy Dwarf buttocks....

I don't play but thank you, since I have a gay son among other things. Not to mention 'gay' is so uncreative an insult, sheesh.

To me a person is a person, regardless of sexual orientation. I treat everyone equally, or try very hard to at the very least. I just find the use of "You're gay" as an answer to something people disagree with in a game (or any environment) to be inappropriate.

Good for you on the /gquit! That's stupid! My guild makes rude jokes now and again but I GUARANTEE that if anyone told them to knock it off, they would not only knock it off but apologize as well. That's just ridiculous. Good luck with your new guild!

I know first hand how hard it is to /gquit, but when things get uncomfortable in your own Guild, it's definitely time to go. Good for you for making the tough choice!

Well... what's done is done. I've been noticing a severe tilt in the guild since Many of the original members I was running with left. Players like Himly, Zipdog/Zipknight, Bicuspid, Benjiuana and even Gnobody/Doorhinge... these were the backbone of the guild, more so than the officers like Ravek and Renwick, or even Fjord ( ... )

Actually, I was ready... I just over-rationalized that things were okay, when I should have listened to myself when I originally wanted to do this.

It just meant I had to do things a little differently, but the end result would have been the same.

I'd still have started a guild. I was ready for this... I just needed a good reason to start it.
