It's funny how people pull essays from pop culture. You were the first to mention the idea and write an essay for class on a pop culture event; I read through an early draft of Liz's on Monday (on the Castle). I like what you wrote, but it could easily be a novel. The bad part about school papers is that you can never flesh something out enough, but you did a good job (and doubled the aloted size). I'm not sure what your plans are tonight, but I'm going to print something out for you to read that you might like. If not tonight then whenever, but I think you'll enjoy it. :)

I did a paper in Comp I about 7 years ago about the Rocky phenomenon (d'da-da-d'dah). Sept 2, 1997 to be exact (Yeah, I am a dork and went and got it). I think I'll post it over on my journal ... there is a lot in it that makes me laugh now even though I totally believed it then ;)
