I've been wanting to write here for days, but our circumstances change like the wind and I can't seem to get my bearings. I really love this space to write, not only for its therapeutic value, but also as documentation of our journey. I love going back an reading my birth stories on my kids birthdays, or sifting back through entries to settle a bet ( Read more... )

What a frustrating oversight! I'm sure you guys will figure something out, but not much fun while you're in the midst of it, with everything up in the air. Good luck <3

I'm angry on your behalf. That's not an "Oops!", that's life-altering for you. What a jerk. :(

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that all your plans will fall into place. You're both so good at improvising, if anybody can deal with this, I'm fairly certain it's you.

I am broken-hearted and angry for you and yours. How maddening! I have so much faith that something is going to work out, though.

Oh how this resonates with me right now. These last two years have been one of uprooting and feeling groundless. But look at it this way - this is the learning bit, this is the fish-out-of-water part, this is the all-consuming point where once it has passed, you will look back on it for years and know that it was necessary.

I know that doesnt take away the anger, or the sense of defeat, but if you can try and sidestep the instant emotion and look and the undercurrent of what is going on. One last bit where the Universe says, "This is what you wanted to get to - how deep can you muster your resolve to make it happen?"

It is a conflict that you have the battle cry for.

You were calm signing the papers, you feel peace when you walk on your land. That is the inner stillness that you can always draw on when there is an obstacle - because it is your natural state, it is the sense of purpose that comes with being exactly where you are supposed to be.

Go get it.
