Remind me not to travel to the US in the winter anymore. It was fucking cold! Plus our flight to NYC was cancelled, so we ended up having to pay some extra and go through Chicago. The sale on our house was just secured about an hour ago! Yay! We've also put an offer in on a house we found this weekend. It was rejected (but it was quite low, so I'm not at all surprised) but we've come back with a higher offer. So - fingers crossed please ( Read more... )

WE GOT AN OFFER ON THE HOUSE!!!

Slight hitch - the woman who made the offer hasn't yet sold hers, but has had a ton of interest in the few days it's been on the market so they don't think it'll be long. She has agreed to let us keep marketing the house in case someone else can purchase quicker, but either way we've got something! YAY!!

We have 3 seperate viewings scheduled on the house this Saturday... I wonder if we'll finally get an offer? I can't wait to start looking for houses in the city.

Keep your fingers crossed for us guys. Please! :)

Can I get some thoughts on this outfit? I hope these aren't too big - if they are, I can put them under a cut. It's only about 20 after 9 in the morning, and already my birthday is turning into crap. I woke up at 3 am with massive heartburn, woke up again at 8 (for real this time), fed kitty who promptly puked all over the hallway, cleaned that up with carpet cleaner thing but stuff in it has apparently gone off so now it smells even worse in the hallway, ( Read more... )
